Beef Seekh Kebab Seekh Kebab is a popular Indian appetizer typically eaten with a side of green chutney. These flavorful bites of lamb or beef are made with freshly ground whole spices. Traditionally, they’re made in a tandoor (a large clay oven), but most of us just make them on the grill.
Ingredients
Mince meat (beef) 1 kgOnions 1 medium size, ground
Green chilies 4
Red chili powder 1 tsp ground
Raw papaya paste (with skin) 1 tsp
Fresh coriander (chopped) 1 bunch
Onion 1 medium size, chopped
Green cardamoms 8
Black pepper ground 1 tsp
Chickpeas flour 4 tbsp
Egg 1
Instructions
In a bowl combine mincemeat with all the ingredients except ghee and mix well.Knead it with hands for about 5- 10 minutes. (It is necessary to knead it because the tenderizer (papaya) should mix well in order to make the kebab soft.
Leave for two hours.
Knead once again.
Take a small portion of the mixture in your hands and put it on a skewer to be roasted directly on flame for a minute and later fried with a little ghee in a frying pan.
Note: For smearing extra ghee on kebabs, tie a small piece of muslin to a stick,
and dip it in the ghee and spread it on the kebabs
